The history of the Mizkan Group dates back to 1804, when Matazaemon Nakano I started making vinegar out of sake kasu (or sake lees). Since the time of our founder, our commitment has always been to place particular emphasis on “serving our customers first” in every field of our business activities. Our Mizkan Group Visions of “Offering customers only the finest products”, is the principle philosophy of the Group and the cornerstone of our company.
Recently, growing concerns for issues of safety and assurance in food products, increased demand for home-meal replacements due to increasingly diversified lifestyles, and a need for simple and quick foods; all countered by decreasing domestic demand due to falling birth rates and an aging population, have brought about increasingly rapid and profound changes in our field of business.
To address this rapidly changing environment, we reorganized the Mizkan Group structure, to face these new challenges and strengthen our overall mission. The intention behind this reorganization is to further solidify Mizkan’s firm sense of values in every aspect of our business activities.
With our core concept of “Bringing Flavor to Life”, we are committed to offering our customers more value-added products that reflect the unique characteristics of the Mizkan Group. Our commitment is to achieve a superior level of safety in all product categories, provide one-step-ahead quality and reliability, and to offer proven health benefits through our tasty and delicious food products.
We appreciate your continued dedication in building a spirit of cooperation and partnership, now and in the future.
